If you've been under-mothered, you need to learn to nurture and nourish yourself at the highest level possible. If you've been under-mothered, naturally you'll be running on a pattern and a program of scarcity. So when something good shows up in your field, because you're running on “not-enoughness” or “not good enoughness”, you will think that what or who has just crossed your path is the best that is ever going to land in front of you. You’lll try to hold onto it / them in all the possible ways, because on a  cellular level you’re programmed to “it doesn't get better than this.” 

Your bank account will know all about it, and so will your mental health and nervous system.

The truth is, the better it gets, the better it gets. 

The trick is in unapologetically being true to yourself.

Yet what they often don’t consider, is who they are required to be, in order to hold the energy - both light and dark - of becoming more visible.

In August this year, I decided to increase my visibility.

60 days later, I went viral on Instagram.

Up until that point my most watched IG reel was 1,400 views.

And at the time this podcast episode was recorded.

My most watch IG reel was 151,000 views.

It then climbed to 176,000 views, and I archived it due to my devotion to Motherhood (a podcast episode for another day)

Prior to that, my most watched reel this year was 1,400 (5 days after deciding to increase my visibility)

One month later it was 1,700.

A week after that it was 7,000, which then climbed to 70,000 in 5 days, and a week later it was at 151,000 views.

It’s all fun and games talking about big numbers.

However, for me - everything that I live and breathe and teach, is driven by how we feel in the process. I stand for the Feminine Leadership Flow State © - leading from a place of ease, spaciousness, and overflow, not exhaustion, force, and burn out.

That sounds like a lot to answer — and it is — but today, coming off the beach inspired, after chatting with a friend — I was struck by the epiphany that I got caught on the Million Dollar train, lured into a delusion that I need to have a million dollar business to live my wildest dream.

My truth is that I don’t need a million dollars. I can flourish and prosper all along the way to achieving my long-term vision with half that amount. And so today, I’m sharing this personal insight with you in the hope that you too will take a step back to consider this...

What moves you to tears? 

Because that thing, that wild dream that moves you to tears, from a place of joy, at the very thought of it, is what catalyses you to take intentional, inspired, and courageous action to make it happen... 

So my question to you is this: What do you actually need to create your vision for 2023 and beyond? Financially speaking, what is your magic number?

And if that’s a million dollars because you want to create impact and be of service to others — and you’ve crunched the numbers, and that's what is truly required to make it happen — then great. Go for it! 

But if that is not your number, then perhaps, like me, you are ready to say, “In this moment, the Million Dollar Dream ain’t my jam.” 

And then, together, we can grow from there.
