    <![CDATA[<p>Matthew sits down with Ian Haslam of The Silver Shop, a well-known and long standing destination in Dublin’s Powerscourt Centre specialising in antique and vintage silver.</p>

<p>Ian shares how a love of beautiful objects was passed down from his grandmother and mother led him to open his first small shop at the tender age of fifteen. </p>

<p>Alongside his passion for silver, Ian also talks about his interest in Chinese porcelain, portrait miniatures, and the incredible and lavish craftsmanship of the late 17th century. </p>

<p>He also reflects on what he views as the role of antiques dealers today and shares some practical advice for any young dealers entering the trade. </p>

    <![CDATA[<p>Matthew sits down with Adam Nathan, wholesale dealer in fine antique jewellery. The founder of AA Fine Gems, Adam also runs Gemversity - a digital platform bringing gems, jewellery and education together in one online space.</p>

<p>Having caught the bug as a teenager, Adam didn't hesitate in leaving school to pursue his career as a dealer. He tells Matthew why he is so passionate about his work, why investing in rare and beautiful pieces matters, and how his travels inform his approach.</p>

<p>Adam claims to not get attached to his pieces but does admits to a soft spot for Renaissance jewellery, jade and (big surprise) kashmir sapphires!</p>

    <![CDATA[<p>Matthew sits down with Chantal O'Sullivan, owner of O'Sullivan Antiques on Francis Street - the centre of the antique trade in Dublin - since 1990.</p>

<p>A natural and charismatic storyteller, Chantal gives a great insight into her decades in the trade, from being 'bitten by the bug' as a 20 year old in Dublin to opening a second location in New York at 31.</p>

<p>Chantal also gives us a peak into some of the incredible pieces that have passed through her hands over the years including a clock that once sat on the mantelpiece in Buckingham House, an engraved Purdey Shotgun and a fireplace which may have been owned by Madame Du Barry in 18th century France.</p>
