Originally from North Alabama, Lisa studied accounting at Wallace State College before making Louisiana her home. She’s been married to her husband David for 25 years, and together they share a wonderful blended family — including two stepsons, a daughter-in-law, and three beautiful granddaughters who are the light of her life.

Lisa is deeply involved in her community, serving as treasurer on both the Steel Mimosas Board and the Friends of Slidell Police Department Board. She’s also an active member of Generations Church in Pearl River.

Dianne Collins has had an adventurous life traveling, cooking, and writing throughout her career. She is a trained chef, a Master Scuba Diving Instructor, and the local host of a travel show in Guam. She received a Hotel Restaurant Management Degree and Culinary Arts Degree from Forest Park, St. Louis, one of the top 10 culinary institutes in the United States. She trained in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at Pro Dive Scuba Diving school as a Master Scuba Diver Trainer. Dianne then traveled the world guiding scuba diving groups to over 40 cities internationally, exploring other cultures, and learning about how food brings us all together.
