William “Bill” Takacs is a native of Toledo, Ohio, who became a permanent resident of Sarasota,

Florida, in 2013. He is a 1973 graduate of Kent State University and a 1976 graduate of the University

of Toledo College of Law. He was employed by the Toledo law firm of Gallon, Takacs and

Boissoneault, Co., LPA from 1978 to 2017 and served the firm as its President and Managing Partner

from 1991 to 2017.

Presently, Bill is a member of Unity Church of Sarasota where he serves as president of its board of

trustees. Although retired from his legal practice, Bill still provides consulting services for his law firm.

In their retirements, Bill and his Partner John enjoy travel internationally, deliver meals for Meals on

Wheels, and are active in 12 step recovery groups.

Mitch Earle understands his purpose as being a communicator. Academically, Mitch is a double cum laude graduate of UC Berkeley, with degrees in classical rhetorical training and political science. In practice, he’s been a writer all of his life, beginning as a print journalist in Los Angeles and Atlanta, parlaying that into ghostwriting and authoring his own book, Discovering Self-Worth Through Love Lost, One Man’s Journey.

His extensive and varied writing background served him well in later becoming a clear and creative voice. That only occurred, though, after losing his fear of public speaking through the assistance of a spiritual teacher who saw in Mitch what Mitch could not at that time see in himself. Jane has worked in the field of addiction for over twelve years with a focus on relapse and recovery. Jane is currently seeing clients in private practice and is working in the Endocrinology department at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital focusing on the relationship between emotional wellbeing and physical health.

Jane is currently receiving training at Sarasota Center of Light focusing on developing consciousness and connecting with her spirit guides to add a new dimension of service to better assist her clients. Gerry is a Science of Mind minister, active as Associate Minister of CSL (Science of Mind) Manatee and as a participant and Consulting Minister at Sarasota Center of Light. Over the past 12 years Gerry has taught many classes on new thought and metaphysical studies. Including the entire practitioner program at Science of Mind.

Gerry started his college training at Ohio State University but concluded at the University of the Americas in Mexico City, Mexico, where he taught history and political science. While in Mexico for five years he received an M. A. in political science.

Here in Sarasota he was active in real estate, having his own office for a number of years and retired as a Florida State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He is the proud father of one daughter who is a graduate of Pineview School and currently lives in California.

As a part of his ministerial certification he received a second Master’s Degree, this one in Spiritual Consciousness.

He has written several short articles and is currently writing a metaphysical book (approximately 60% complete). This book will be aimed at the person who is brand-new to metaphysical thought or to the older teenager who has been exposed to some metaphysical thought in their past.

Gerry’s other current activity is that he is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Conscious Business Ethics.

When asked why he is active at SCOL he is very quick to answer, actually with two answers. First, he talks about the wonderful people and the marvelous community. Second, he talks about SCOL’s fantastic healing and mediumship programs. He quickly says these are two areas of metaphysics and spirituality that he has had virtually no other exposure to and is finding his studies very rewarding.
