Welcome to another edition of the Back Pew podcast!

This episode Ethan and Will sit down and record from their homes due to be quarantined and encourage you with scripture and stories of God’s faithfulness regarding the subject of finances.

More specifically they talk about living life with God being our source! Many people think their job is their source but the truth is it's simply a resource God uses!

As believers we need to learn to put all our trust in our Heavenly Father to take care of us no matter what happens in our lives. When we do this, we find ourselves able to live much more at peace when it comes to money. Peace is just the benefi though. The greatest reason we need to live the truth out is because we can properly Worship God and keep money in its place. We must be careful to not to put more trust in money than we should.

To commemorate our 50th episode the Back Pew Podcast, we invited a friend of the show, Bailey Neff to be our guest. Ethan and Will know Bailey from the mission field (which of course if also how Ethan and Will met each other).

On Ep 40, Truth Never Falters, we have a special guest for you. Ethan had to step away from the mic this week so WIll asked Andy Gomez to join him on the pod. After a divine appointment, WIll knew Andy would be a perfect guest for the show.

Andy went to school for ministry and pastored for a while. His heart for God, truth, and ministry led him into the opportunity to pastor but it was that same heart for truth that led to his resignation from the church he was a staff pastor of. Andy realized things he believed, even preached from the pulpit, were nothing more than traditional beliefs of a denomination made by man. When Andy took a stand for truth God opened his eyes too, let's just say he wasn't met with a favorable conversation about it. So in this episode, Will and Andy talk about truth and how if what we're believing is actually truth, they will stand the test of the word no matter what. The truth will never falter.

She moved to LA and really started to really struggle mentally but she thought if she moved back home to Tulsa, she would be alright. She wasn't. Kaitlyn has been diagnosed Social anxiety and depression but has found hope and strength through God, therapy and medication so now she has become a Mental Health Advocate. She has a Pages on FB, IG and just started a podcast. Check her out. You will be sure to find encouragement & support there.

We hope you enjoy the show. Our goal was help normalize the conversation around mental health. Be encouraged. Will and Kaitlyn both struggled with their mental health at times but are living a happy, healthy life.

Why God? Feat. guest Emeka Nnaka _Ep 24

This week we have a a special Guest on the Back Pew, Mr. Emeka Nnaka. Emeka is loved in the Tulsa community and becoming more widely known & loved around the country after his 2 guest appearances on the Ellen Show this year.

He is a Christian and Motivational Speaker & has quite the story. He being orininally from Georgia, with his parents from Nigeria, moved to Tulsa to attend ORU. Soon after he became a pro athlete playing football. Emeka Nnaka’s life changed in an instant when making a tackle as a defensive end for the Oklahoma Thunder semi-professional football team. The 21-year-old Oral Roberts University student was playing for the team in a game at Fayetteville, Ark., when he sustained a spinal cord injury.

“I just laid there, not able to move,” Emeka recalled. “I felt a tingling sensation throughout my body, kind of like when you hit your funny bone. I tried so hard to give the ‘thumbs up’ sign on the way out of the stadium, but I just couldn’t do it.

When he woke up, he couldn’t move anything from the chest down. But after several months of intensive physical therapy back in Tulsa, he slowly regained use of his arms, began to move his neck and learned to feed himself.

We get into that story, how it happened, what life was like right after and life now. He drops some great encouragement along the way and we bump into others missions, evangelism, and organized religion, what do you do when you feel lost and don't know what to expect for your life going forward. You will enjoy this conversation without a doubt. Watch or Listen until the end. It just gets better and better but without the beginning, you will not have the context you need.

Re-Release of "Why God" with Special Guest, Emeka Nnaka

This week we have a Special Guest on the Back Pew, Mr. Emeka Nnaka. Emeka is loved in the Tulsa community and becoming more widely known & loved around the country after his 2 guest appearances on the Ellen Show this year.

He is a Christian and Motivational Speaker & has quite the story. Being originally from Georgia, with his parents from Nigeria, moved to Tulsa to attend ORU. Soon after he became a pro athlete playing football. Emeka Nnaka’s life changed in an instant when making a tackle as a defensive end for the Oklahoma Thunder semi-professional football team. The 21-year-old Oral Roberts University student was playing for the team in a game at Fayetteville, Ark., when he sustained a spinal cord injury.
