In our first episode, whistleblower Emanuel Stanley — who was fired from the Department of Health for speaking out about the unspoken syphilis outbreak — joins forces with the legendary Bill Duke. You’ve seen Bill in Predator, Commando, Deep Cover, Sister Act 2, just to name a few. He’s also a director, producer, father, and mentor. Together, Bill and Emanuel are working to raise awareness about the impact of syphilis on Black and Brown communities.

Remel London, the face of Sky Ones What's Up, TV and host of her own radio show on Capital Xtra, founder of much celebrated creative platform The Mainstream which provides key networking opportunities, live events, workshops/seminars, and podcasts to support exceptional diverse talent developing careers in mainstream media spaces. 

Professor and Chair, Department of American Studies at Indiana University. His work centers on the intersection of labor history and the struggle for racial justice in societies shaped by white supremacy, particularly in the U.S. South (1865-1954) His book, Twice the Work of Free Labor examines the role of convict leasing and chain gangs in the remaking of the American South in the half century after the Civil War. Donald and Martin talk to Dr Lichtenstein about "Unmasked" , an exhibit at the Crispus Attucks Museum (1140 Dr MLK Jr. St., Indianapolis) Works of art that's teaching the ugly history of lynching in America. We wanted to know the challenges of a white professor teaching the truth about white supremancy and racist violance in America.
